Our activities
Year 2023:
We continue our integrative and educational efforts.
We participate in the Vistula Festival and the Corpus Christi procession, both of which we carried out in collaboration with the Enjoy Leoncin Association. We offer educational sightseeing cruises tailored for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
We are the initiators of a commemorative cruise in honor of the patrol boat KU-30, which took place on September 10, 2023, under the patronage of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk.
Year 2022:
We participated in the 4th Tourism Fair “Mission Kampinos” in Czosnów, where we showcased an educational booth on tying traditional nautical knots in collaboration with our partners.
Our boat, Basonia, played a unique role as the first floating altar and the primary vessel for transporting the Corpus Christi procession on the Vistula. This was the first Vistula river procession of its kind, with the potential for future continuations.
In June, we took part in the “Green Holidays” celebration in Urzecze.
We participated in regattas of traditional sailboats with gaff rigs in Warsaw.
At the beginning of August, we co-organized an event on the Vistula called “Flisacy are Returning to the Vistula” in collaboration with the Enjoy Leoncin association in Nowy Secymin. Our boats were involved in trips with event participants, and we organized educational booths, games, and activities for children.
During the annual Vistula Festival in Toruń, we served as the river post office, transporting our issued stamps and postcards to Vistula post offices. All of this was presented at the official Polish Post booth. We won the top prize at the Vistula Festival for the best traditional boat preparation and the portrayal of the history of rafting.
We participated in the St. James’ Rafting “Camino de Vistula” with the final destination in Dobrzyń nad Wisłą.
